Communiquè on African Diaspora participation in the joint Africa-Eu Strategic Partnership
This communiqué was signed by the diaspora and civil society forums in Africa at a technical meeting held in Addis Ababa on 16-17 December 2009. The communiqué was adopted to facilitate the building of partnerships and strategic alliances between diaspora organisations in Europe and the newly formed civil society forums in Africa, specifically in the areas of lobbying, campaigning and advocacy with regard to monitoring the progress of the Partnership programme in both Europe and Africa.
