Jide was part of the West Africa team that undertook the just concluded study on the impact of COVID-19 on the drivers of Conflicts and Structural Vulnerabilities in Africa. The research was jointly coordinated by AU\u2019s African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) and the African Centre for Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD). He currently manages many regional and continental research in Peace, Security, Stability, and good governance. He is a lead consultant with the ECOWAS\u2019 division of Human Security and Civil Society on the development of Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) on Mixed Migration for Frontline Service Providers. His expertise is diverse in research\/data collection\/analysis, peacebuilding, security, stability, global trade competitiveness, international migration and development policy research.<\/p>\n<p>Jide was the national expert on the \u201cEvaluation of the EU\u2019s external action support in the area of migration (2009-2019) in Nigeria\u201d where he helps finalize the project<br \/>\nagenda for the country\u2019s assessments of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and<br \/>\nchallenges to migration projects\u2019 performance between (2009 and 2019). Also, he is<br \/>\none of the key Experts on the Review of Nigeria\u2019s 2014 Migration Profile. In February 2020, he assisted in disaggregating complex migration configurations leading to the development of National Action Plan for the implementation of the Global Compact on Migration (GCM) in Nigeria. To date, he defended a doctoral thesis in sociology at the University of Toulouse 2 Le Mirail in France where he later taught for several years before joining the Sociology department of Gaston Berger University. She is a research officer at the African Migration and Development Policy Centre (AMADPOC) and a Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Political Studies\/Communication Studies at Moi University. She teaches undergraduate courses touching on International Migration and Intercultural Relations in the Department of Political Science on a part-time basis and, the Department of Communication Studies. In addition to her position as the Executive Director at AMADPOC, Dr. Oucho is also a Research Advisor for \u201cGendering Migration: Women and Girls Experiences of Gender base Discrimination, Abuse and Violence across Migratory Stages\u201d at Masstrict Univrsity in the Netherland. She holds a PhD in Ethnic Relations from the University of Warwick, where she specialized in international migration of African Women. Her research focuses on internal regional migration patterns within Eastern Africa including projects related to poverty, climate change and more recently youth, employment and migration. Setrana is a Senior lecturer at the Centre for Migration Studies, University of Ghana, Legon whereas the first female lecturer to be appointed to this position. Her Masters and PhD theses focused on exploring pre-post experiences and activities of return migrants to Ghana (Both voluntary and involuntary migrants). Her PhD in Migration Studies was a sandwich program between Radboud University, the Netherlands, and the University of Ghana. He received his Bachelor of Economics at Mohamed V University, Rabat where he is now a professor and associate researcher. \u00a0Dr. Lahlou has in-depth knowledge of the issue of international migration and analyses the various migratory flows in the Mediterranean and between the Maghreb and the EU. He is carrying out numerous studies on this subject, with the support of academic and research entities (such as IUE in Florence, IAi in Rome, ICMPD in Vienna, IEMed in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bAl Akhawayn University, Ifrane, etc\u2026), and drafted numerous reports with the support of the Moroccan Ministry in charge of SRM and migration affairs, the International Labor Office or German Cooperation (GIZ). He is also a Fellow at the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS), Bruges, Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of Harvard and Oxford universities, he holds a PhD in Legal Sciences from JL Giessen University, Germany, an MPA from Harvard, an MSc from the University of Oxford and an LLB from Addis Ababa University.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 20 years of management and professional working experience in multilateral bodies, he combines research excellence with a deep knowledge of multilateral systems. In 2015 she opened the ALNABOU study firm (Assistance locale et Nationale au Business et Op\u00e9ration d\u2019Utilit\u00e9 Socio-Economique; Local and National Business Assistance and Socio-Economic Utility Operation). This is a project support cooperative with members of research firms, training organizations, construction companies, event agencies, etc. Its main area of intervention is support for migrants with development and business creation projects.
